Musings and ramblings of a wargamer who has decided to share my many photos of games played, shows visited and places of interest I've been too. I will first get all the photos loaded then I'll revisit and write up my notes, or more likely delve my memory. Plus over time I also want to write up scenario details of the games I've played and share new gaming ideas.
For this game I used the lists in the 'They Died For Glory' rules to create generic brigades and divisions. The bests lists I've found are in Quintin Barry's 2 volume Franco Prussian War. It's a great read and he includes an army list down to battalion level for each major clash. I used 20 man German units and 16 man French units, this was based on the difference in ratio between the historic numbers per battalion, give or take a little.
Where did you get the army list from for FPW ?
